In addition, she was a part of the team that finished 2nd in the 100-meter relay event. In 2003 and in 2004, Jones was the winner of the indoor hurdles competition during the NCAA Championship. Jones was a professional athlete when she graduated in 2005. her bachelor's degree. She began to train to pursue a track career that would be successful. This year, she took home the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026 she took home the Ostrava Track competition and Heusden.

Brandt was raised and born in Cape Town in South Africa. She immigrated in Auckland New Zealand with her family during her teens.
